The Bordalo Pinheiro Museum has a significant collection of prints by Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro and his son, Manuel Gustavo.
The collection is formed mostly of lithographed pages from the humorous periodicals that Bordalo Pinheiro founded and directed. It includes a multitude of the artist’s collaborations with national and foreign publications and countless graphic works, such as illustrations, flyers, book covers, advertisements and packaging, among others. Various printing techniques are represented among the approximately 3,300 pieces.
